Tier 3 is Open-Source Radio Group’s most in-depth level of consulting, designed for stations that need a full build, a complete rebuild, or a sound that is truly their own. This is where OSRG moves beyond refinement and into creation.
At this level, OSRG develops the format from the ground up—or re-engineers an existing one—creating custom music rules, category systems, and playlist architecture tailored specifically to your station’s market, goals, and audience. Branding and positioning are addressed holistically so the station’s sound, identity, and strategy work together as a unified whole.
Tier 3 also supports launches and relaunches, with ongoing guidance to help stabilize the format after it goes on the air. Custom Formats are available only at this level and are built exclusively for one station or ownership group, ensuring the result is distinctive and not reused elsewhere.
